—— Pinewolves are a defensive, intelligent teetering to high intelligence species of monster that are on average, as big as two hares stacked up on each other ( approximately 2.7 to 4.7 feet tall, with an average height of about 3.7 feet. ). They have many unique variations and forms, some others more stronger and bigger than the Pinewolves. Normally, these protective critters stay around Pinewolf dens to guard their young, obscuring their territory with a thin mist that emanates from between openings in their tiered scales. Be warned though, as they will hunt you down if you disturb their young, or show any signs of aggression—they may "escort" you out their territory, as anxious parents protecting their family. ___________________________________________ — Pinewolf young are brought into the world hanging from branches inside of dark burrows, where they safely grow for the few new months under the full, undivided attention of adult Pinewolves that bring foods and sorts for their large families. — Juvenile Pinewolves are rarely sighted venturing outside of dens without their parents lead, resembling short-bodied miniature adults but with sharper scale edges and a more ferocious intensity and mischievous temper to go alongside its retractable spiny spines. ___________________________________________ — Pinewolves like bathing in the forests rivers whilst listening to birds sing or winds rustle leaves, but they do not like being interrupted. When their bathing time is interrupted, they will ruthlessly maul at you; they do not care at being fair when their bath time is disturbed. — Pinewolves use rocks seasonally as backscratching devices when it is time to shed, loosening its scales until they fall off and new growth replaces them. These are the times when Pinewolves are most vulnerable, and the time where very few members of the family keep their old coats on to protect the vulnerable ones.
