☆ Locket - open multi palette PMV map

Instructions

Hello !!! I haven’t hosted a map in a hot minute but I just heard this song and thought it deserved a map. I love the instrumentals and the tune is great,,, the vocals aren’t my favorite but it’s overall a retry good song. Definitely out of my comfort zone though, lol! ANYWAYS MAP INFORMATION! Locket - a palette PMV map -a PMV is a picture music video. The people that I accept will hopefully know what a PMV is, but here’s an example of one: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1042430022 (credit to @peteyparrot, the god of PMVs LOL) -DO NOT: animate frame by frame, (AMV) do not tween each individual part, (instead tween the whole thing, yk,) do not just have the pictures change without movement (animatic) -DO: use smooth glides and zooms: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/26432593 (@minirag) I couldn’t find the original project where this was used, but the smooth zoom by @cs_iewis https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/786872444 PLEASE CREDIT THEM RULES -read through these thoroughly , PLEASE! -this map can have any fandom characters, OC characters, people, do whatever. (Gonna try to avoid having warrior cats because I swear there’s 50 million wc maps,,, no offense it’s a super cool series and those maps are PEAK just there’s so many lol) -follow the palette that corresponds to your part! There are palette notes and stuff inside the project. The palette changes based on the part of you look at the screen, but it also says which parts each palette has if you go into the project and check the palette sprite. -try to add flowers to your part! Heavily encouraged, but more information on that in the palette sprite. -due date is a month after you recieve your part(s) you may ask for two 14 day extensions (2 weeks) -when your due date(s) arrive I will let you know! If you are not done after using your two extensions, lmk why and we’ll work something out. -I’d really prefer you only take a part if you’re pretty sure you’ll be able to finish it, dropping is obviously fine if you need to! I’d just rather you not lol -idk I’m gonna choose people who’s art I like. Not too “experienced animator” based because it’s a PMV map. I’d like for it to be nicely on time, etc etc, but I’ll judge mainly on art -tnes appreciated no need to ask! -remix this project with any parts or tnes -I’d like some effort put into your part! Shading is appreciated because it’s a PMV map, but if you can’t that’s fine as well. No lighting please, unless specified. -weird rule that a bunch of you are gonna jump me for LOL,,,, (/j) gonna say I really really prefer humans / humanoids over ferals. I’m gonna say anthros are okay, like deltarune characters are fine and stuff idk anthros are fine ( codeword is your favorite flower) I’ll definitely prioritize people using those in their parts, simply because I see so many “cat only!” Maps, and so many that are like “I’d rather have them be all feral..” so not saying it’s limited only humans/ humanoids , just very much prioritized and encouraged! (You may ask about this) -collabs are fine if needed! So are backups! -use your own art and stuff,,,, I mean this is kinda obvious lol -two sprites MAX per part -do not write the lyrics in your part. I will add them later. If anyone is interested, the lyrics are in the backdrop code!! (Matched to the parts as well) -vibe of the map is sort of surreal and like spacey. -two parts max per person! -DO NOT ANIMATE IN THE BACKDROPS PLEASE -I will respond to your comment within 3 weeks if you are accepted. If I don’t get to you, assume you’re not accepted or that I am busy and forgot to :,,) -if you’d like me to tell you if you’re not accepted, lmk in your form somewhere -please use the form LOL -and let me know of any questions!! (I don’t bite i swear,) FORM Uninvited: Username (no @) // part(s) wanted // one art example, one animation example (can be PMV, animatic, AMV, etc) you may link a studio! // what ocs, fandom characters, people, etc you’ll be using!
