Nostalgic Hurst - Wood Zone Act 1 For S&TFG Inspired by Bamboo Breeze Act 1, Emerald Hill 2P, and Foliage Furnace Act 1
Track description: "Lots of credit to Masato Nakurama, a musical legend. I feel very bad for Wood Zone not making the cut in the original Sonic 2 since it looks way cooler than Metropolis and Oil Ocean, and I'm so glad it is making its grand return now. This piece is meant to feel a little melancholy and I took the bell phrase from Foliage Furnace since I think it sounds pretty nice. Also I played with the concept of layering different instrument for the melody at different times like in Bamboo Breeze. I tried to add a guitar like in Rocky Ride, but I feel the atmosphere would have broken a little(also I don't have any samples yet). It is a little too chill but I think it feels like a dormant jungle with tubular bells, organs, and brass. Get ready to roll down trees and run past leaves."
