(Note, this script I wrote was inspired by the recent short made on their YT channel, which first introduced ME to the series. I just wanted to point that out because I want people to make sure that I wasn't plagiarizing what they said in the short. With that out the way, enjoy :)) Good day to all the souls of the Indieverse! I'm Drago, and I'm here today to tell YOU all about an upcoming Indie animated series that you may or may not know about! The series in question, created by a talented team who's pilot has not yet been released, "Sunnyside Royals of Cora!" This series takes place in the fantasy world of Cora, a magical realm made up of several kingdoms, each powered via it's own unique magical core. In the depths of the earth, mortal humans dwell, living under the rule of royals, demigods who are infused with magic, infused into every aspect of their being. Every royal is born with colorful hair, eyes, and heel emblems, all being genetic representations of their specific magical powers. As Cora tradition lists, all young royals must attend Sunny Side Royal Academy, an exclusive heavily guarded campus found in the Sorcery kingdom. There, they will learn to master their magic, master royal etiquette, and get personally connected to their political allies. This year at Sunnyside, four heirs begin their first year, forced to live close together in a Lavish Estate. The heirs in question are as follows: glamorous celebrity princess Crescenta of Star, ambitious bookworm prince River of Water, mysterious powerhouse princess Hazel of Flora, and reckless yet artsy renegade prince Zephyr of Wind. All of which who were sent away from their kingdoms. The Pilot follows the core friend group, as they devote themselves to proving themselves at Sunnyside by teaming up to top the school leaderboard before their rivals can. But these heirs aren't just who they say there are, because when shameful skeletons from their past begin to reemerge in the press, they must try to figure out how to save their reputation. All while dealing with the looming threat of the Maliforge, a force that corrupts the kingdom's cores from beneath, and twists the very fabric of their society.... Basically in a nutshell, it's like a collage drama, mixed with political consequences, and magic! Where the four of them navigate friendship, forbidden romance, public scrutiny, and the suffocating expectations of their parents. If some of you out there like other magical shows out there like Steven Universe or Avatar The Last Airbender, this show might be for you! (Editor's note, AKA fire note from Drago, I would 100% be in that audience myself, lol) And that's Sunnyside Royals of Cora! If anyone of you out there want to help support the show and bring it to life, consider checking out their kickstarter, which is out now! IF that's not up your alley, then just spread the word around about it, (or this project if you're a Scratcher) so more people can get to know about the series! Anyways with all of that said, I am Drago, and this has been YOU'RE slice, of "Indie news." thank you, and good day.
