╔∘ ♕ ∘═══════════════╗ WELCOME to the Ghostly Greenhouse!! ╚═══════════════∘ ♕ ∘╝ -ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ- EEK I LOVE THIS DRAWING SM :DDDDD ================================ ~✮✧Lore✧✮~ (Warriors) The CandleHolders were a imagined spectral beings watching over them as StarClan did, keeping things in balance. The candles they hold, possess the lives of many cats, and their souls can be whisked away as quickly as it takes to put out a wick. Many were summoned only on Blood Moon nights, begged to spare them and give the cat its candle, so that it may control its vitality. Of course, these cats would only see their candle, and then to die. The CandleHolders were not evil though. They would often expand lives of great leaders and valiant warriors, occasionally visiting them in dreams and delivering messages of praise. Cats of the Dark Forest can become CandleHolders, proving that they deserve to escape suffering, but at a price; their memories. As they make more candles and take lives, the more memories the lose, and the more wax they become encased in, eventually becoming a beacon of hope for the future. It is a sign of luck if you find a wax cat near the Moonpool, showing that you have a bright future ahead. Many cats disliked the legend of these reapers, because the moon was red, indicating that StarClan was in danger of the Forest, or angered with the cats of the Clans. But it was quite the opposite. CandleHolders require the "impure" light of the moon to exist in the mortal world, or they will surely turn to ash. StarClan believes in life over death, but they also allow the CandleHolders to control the mortal world, and are typically responsible for StarClan's punishments. ============================= NOTE: I will add the song "Candle Queen"
