❝ If you cannot do your job, then we will not do ours ❞ Dovedivinity has noticed UrchinClan grow... lazier. As she puts it, "they only tend to care when we are actively dying." Now, none of us can truly say she is wrong. Which is exactly why she has proposed an idea to Squirrelstar... -- The Rule -- UrchinClan, from the moment this rule is officially in place, will be assigned debts for being healed by one of their medics. The medics aren't cruel, of course, and they have agreed that the cat will be healed, and then they will have a debt. If a cat doesn't repay their debt before the next time they request a healing, they will be refused service. It does not matter who you go to. The medics will not help you, until you help the Clan. -- What Are Debts? -- Debts will be given to a cat once they are healed by a medic. If your injury/illness does not get better, you will be allowed to heal again without fulfilling your debts. However, you will have a larger debt if you are to use more Debts are nothing evil. You'll be assigned a few patrols to gather safety and prey for UrchinClan. Going to a cat with less healing ability (like an apprentice, for example) will give you a smaller debt, but you have a greater chance of your injury/illness getting worse The same thing goes for a cat with a greater healing ability (like a 100 exp medic, for example). It will give you a larger debt, but you have a smaller chance of your injury/illness getting worse -- Who Can Gain Debts -- Anyone who can hunt and patrol for the Clan will give back through debts. This includes: leader, deputy, warriors, apprentices This does NOT include: kits, medic, elders This is primarily because these cats cannot complete debts if they were to be given one, especially for kits. For medics, it is their JOB to HEAL you. And it is YOUR job to hunt and provide for the Clan. -- Repaying Debts -- When you're healed by a medic, you will be given your debt... this applies AFTER the thread has been ROLLED (aka when we know if you can actually pay your debt, or need another healing thread). So it may be a few days before you actually receive your debt. After your thread is rolled, the head medic will assign you a debt based on a few factors, namely what your injury/illness status was BEFORE being healed, and the healing ability of the medic who healed you. Once you've been given your debt, it will be up to you to fulfill it before the next time you'd like to be healed. -- Credits -- This was originally Boris / @fallenferns 's idea!!
