The Perfect weapon, only for the most perfect soldiers. The Sangrian "Black Arrows", before they were the most feared unit of the Sangrian Armed Forces. They could carry out strikes at terrifying speeds, disappearing into the shadows, ready to strike again. And now they just got deadlier. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "This is Arrow Alpha-1, to Arrow Beta-1. Are you in position?" "Arrow Beta-1 to Alpha-1, position confirmed, two Kilos east and one Kilo south from Point X-ray." "Alright. Hold current position, Charlie Squad is moving in." "Arrow Charlie-1 to Alpha-1, we're positioned outside the compound. Awaiting orders." "Arrow Alpha-1 to Charlie-1, hold position, S.O.R.A. is working on taking out the camera systems." "Roger." . . . "Alpha-1 to Charlie-1, S.O.R.A. confirms camera systems and motion sensors are down, proceed with caution." "Charlie-1 to Alpha-1, we are now entering the compound. Radio silence is now in effect." "Roger." . . . *7 minutes later* . . . "Arrow Charlie-1 to Arrow Alpha-1, Operation Ghost is a success, repeat, Operation Ghost is a success. Returning to Point X-ray." "Nicely done Charlie, I can see the flames from all the way out here. Starrians are gonna have a hell of a New Years party." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Worlds first use of the M38 MAR prototype rifle results in astounding success. Using a 4.5mm Tungsten Flechette that flies at MACH 4.5, it can decimate targets from extreme distances, with enough force to rival most .50 BMGs (~3,937 impact Joules). The magnetic propulsion system eliminates the muzzle flash while refusing the infamous "BANG" sound to a mere "thAK". Its Tungsten core flying at hypersonic speed allows it to rip through Level IV ceramic body armor like a knife through paper, and even penetrate APC armor plating at standard combat ranges. Bullet drop becomes negligible at anything under 500 meters, making this rifle instantly more accurate than many modern sniper rifles. The future has arrived, with Sangria successfully fielding the world's first combat-ready Gauss Rifle. Sangria has no intentions of selling the weapon, and only 200 at MOST will be handed out to her allies. The land ripe, and Sangria will be the first to pluck it.
