I usually dont post stuff like this but its genuinely weird I’m not obsessed with k-pop idols and never have been becuase I genuinely don’t ACTUALLY care for them, but no hate to them, I do enjoy the music sometimes But in this community, people keep babying k-pop idols, especially the male idols. It’s actually weird, these idols are FULL grown adults? Why are you babying them as if they are babies? Aswell as people overreacting when they swear or say something suggestive. They are ADULTS. (Most of the time, in some cases they aren’t.) You’ll live if your favorite k-pop idol says a bad word. That k-pop idol pays bills, endures high training, but now they are just a baby to you. Let your idol drink wine. Let your idol curse. Let your idol get a tattoo. They are old enough to make their own deiscons and choices. Also, this community targets non-k-pop artists for acting “cute” as if ALL of k-pop is just idols doing aegyo or cute faces. And let’s not forget the fact you guys defend these people with your LIVES. Lisa wore cultural braids. She is NOT black. I am black, and I found this weird. I was suprised to see people defending her for this. Thankfully, she apologized, yet I still find it weird how you guys are so quick to take no accountability for your idol. Multiple other idols, such as Tarzan, did cultural appropriation. It’s honestly sad that you guys are so quick to defend people who DON’T know you and have never spoken to you. The idols don’t care for you. You give them money, that’s all.
