(Grimm POV) I slowly blinked away, my head pounding and my limbs feeling like lead. I groaned, sitting up. I blinked away the dizziness. Slowly, I got to my feet. I was in some kind of room with a lot of closets. I also saw a phone on the ground, thought it wasn’t mine. It had a black phone case, and there were words on it. I picked it up to see what it said. The words said: ‘Vigilante: Rogue justice. Execute who you believe is Mafia to save the Town, but a mistaken shot will cost your own life.’ Underneath the description, there were smaller words. ‘Be careful of who you trust. You don’t know who they might be.’ There was also a gvn next to the phone. I picked it up and shoved it in my pocket. As I did so, voices from outside the room reached me. They were muffled, but voices were good! That meant there were other people. I walked out of the room. There were 2 people standing just outside the door. One of them was a dark skinned man with black pinstripe suit with a white vertical stripe. The jacket features wide lapels and is accented with a red necktie. His hair is a short, slicked-back black style. The man’s dark green eyes were narrowed and he was whispering to a woman. The lady was wearing a black dress with a sparkly belt and slits on both sides. She has tattoos on her chest in the shape of a heart and other symbols. The lady has platinum blonde hair that appears more brown at the roots and sunglasses resting on top of her head. She is frowning and appears to be wearing what may be eyeliner. Neither of them had noticed me yet. I cleared my throat loudly to catch their attention. The lady flinched and turned to me quickly. The man was calmer, and looked to me with a curious look. “Oh, hey. We didn’t see you there.” He cleared his throat. “I’m guessing you also got drvgged and woke up here?” I nodded. Though, I knew that wasn’t what really happened to me, at least. My creator probably transported me to this world for some god dang book he was writing. The man smiled. “The name’s Wayne. And this is Madison.” Madison gave me brief nod. “Hey.” She muttered. Wayne put a hand on my shoulder, causing me to flinch slightly. “Come on. The others are gathered in the main area.” As we walked, I observed our surroundings. It seemed we are in some kind of library. We walked up a set of stairs and there was a whole group of people gathered in an open space right in front of a huge window. It was storming outside, lightning occasionally being heard in the distance. I thought I didn’t know anyone, until I got a familiar flash of white hair. Eliara! I smiled and walked over. She had hair as white as snow and round, purple eyes. She had a black dress similar to Madison’s, but with a slit on only one side. The moment Eliara saw me, she gasped and ran over to hug me. “Oh, Grimm! I’m so glad to see you! I thought I was all alone here in this room full of strangers.” I laughed and patted her back before gently breaking away from the hug. “Good to see you too.” Behind me, Madison cleared her throat awkwardly. “Uh, hello.” Eliara waved at the two who had accompanied me upstairs. “Hello! I’m Eliara.” Wayne leaned against the railing of the stairs. “I’m Wayne. And the girl is Madison.” He tilted his head, glancing between me and Eliara. “I’m guessing you two know each other.” I nodded. “Yeah, she’s a friend of my father.” My expression soured slightly. I’m just glad Val isn’t here. Or, at least, that’s why I had thought until I saw someone standing near the huge curtains of the window. Val. I scowled. He hadn’t noticed he yet. He had a black shirt on with a goofy face on it in white print. He had black hair like mine, with an eye patch over one eye. Val was talking to a man with voluminous platinum blonde with layered, sweeping bangs that partially cover his forehead and his green eyes. He has a white suit jacket on over a black buttoned vest, paired with a striped necktie and black trousers. “God, what’s the obsession with suits around here…?” I grumbled. “I feel underdressed.” Val caught my eye. Before he could say anything, I looked away, gritting my teeth. Wayne must have noticed, because he gently placed a hand on my shoulder and tilted his head. “You okay?” I shrugged. “I’m fine.” He smiled and nodded. “Well, you can go look around now with your friend. Try to talk to sone people.” His expression became solemn. “But, be careful not to trust the wrong people.” Before I could ask what he meant, he turned away, Madison following behind him. I sighed inwardly. Guess I’m stuck here with Eliara and Val until I figured out how to leave.
