DTA is an acronym ; D — Draw T — To A — Adopt ⤷ a ‘Draw To Adopt’ , better known as a DTA , is a type of contest that consists of drawing a featured character from the DTA in order to have a chance at winning them. It is not in any means a raffle , and the contest hosters typically judge the winners based off of talent , passion , or other factors that involve your entrie(s) standing out compared to the rest. I will go into more depth on things to do to raise your chances of winning later ! ⤷ now, a ROTATING dta is simply a normal dta contest, but rather than being a single time thing, the winnable characters ‘rotate’ and get refreshed every so often (in this case, each month). This will render all past characters unable to be obtained, other than the ones that are currently on. characters will not return, as after their cycle they will be judged and awarded to the participants who won specifically that month. ═══════════════════════════════════ ✶ GENERAL RULES : ✧ Absolutely NO tracing , artwork theft , or ai . [ this will lead to an immediate disqualification and serious blacklist , folks ! don’t try it !! ] ✧ NO bases / picrew . the art must be 100% yours! (“what if the base/picrew is made by me?” still no, sorry!) ✧ Any medium of art is allowed ! ( Digital , Sketching , Painting , Clay , Plushes , Puppets , etc. ) PLEASE however refrain from making larger projects such as a fursuit until the character is properly yours . I have heard a case or so of this so i simply wanted to put it out there beforehand . ✧ Bribing , threatening , whining about , or any other poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated !! You WILL be disqualified . ✧ Switching species and/or minor redesigns are OK as long as the design stays recognizable. As well as turning them anthro! Humanization is also OK , just understand I’m more picky and tentative when judging humanized designs. Sorry! ✧ Be respectful with your entries! Do NOT include anything offensive, disgusting, or otherwise TOS breaking. ✧ You may use other’s coding such as animation meme templates , but credit MUST be provided ! ✧ All entries MUST go into their respective studios or they will NOT be counted. I will not be providing reminders. ✧ You may enter for as many characters as you’d like as always , but you may only win up to [ four ] per year . This is to keep it fair and give everyone a chance ! ✧ Whilst i highly doubt it’ll happen , you CAN theoretically win both characters in a batch. ═══════════════════════════════════ ✶ FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) : Q: Can I enter? Who am I allowed to enter for? A: Yes, no need to ask, you may enter! Please only enter for designs in the current batch, the ones clearly displayed within the project and in the ‘CURRENT DESIGNS’ section. You may NOT enter for old designs, as those have already either been homed or are being judged. (To avoid confusion, the thumbnail characters are mascots and CANNOT be entered for! The little icons next to the text ‘Current Rotation’ however CAN be entered for.) Q: What ups my chances of winning? A: Many entries, dedication to the character, animations, storytelling/lore, giving them relations to your existing characters, all goes! click fr next backdrop!! lore: Tarot Card ( Tarot) is an underworld creature ( this underworld is a hidden dimension, different than the main )who delivers things to spirits and other creatures. Mostly she delivers cards ( gaming ones, from the 15th century to the current century) but sometimes also delivers food. She enjoys her job, but may sometimes feel a little stressed under the pressure of having to rush to each house to deliver. Though a game of cards will always keep her morale up :D she can be mysterious at times and is skilled at the art of divination. The symbols on her sleeves are to remind her of the meaning of her own being as she, herself, can be quite confused of what she is at times and needs something to cling her onto reality. she was born from the jewel that she wears around her neck, and no one knows how it originated. When she was first born, she looked at it and saw that it had five cards as a visual in the crystal spelling T-A-R-O-T before vanishing.But she finds it pretty handy to hypnotise selfish customers to at least give her proper thanks ( some reckon that her job is not too hard and blame her for the long wait, increasing Tarot’s frustration.) Overall, Tarot may be impatient and short-tempered at times, but she is actually a good friend who helps others at times. art by me
