About: Among the brambles is a story about a trans femme therian/fictionkin named Juniper. Juniper is invited to a boarding school for alterhumans and forced to go there because her parents can't afford school for her and her 3 siblings, so the school seemed like an obvious choice because it gave the best financial assistance, and Juniper is an alterhuman after all. There, she makes new friends, deals with personal problems, and manages her identity while figuring out the dark and mystifying secret that the school holds.
