(The survey can be found below, please answer the two questions in the comments of this project. If you’d like some context on this, read the area below the survey!) 1. If there are any TWs from the list below that you believe you need on the studio/would be considerably helpful to you, please select them: • Death • Discrimination • Violence • Weapons • War If there aren’t any, that’s okay, too! Just specify that in your comment. 2. Are there any additional TWs that you would find considerably helpful for us to add to the list? If so, please specify. (Keep in mind that we won’t add a TW to the list just because one user asked for one; multiple users would have to ask for the same TW for it to be added.) ──────────────────────── Hey! A few days ago the managers were discussing DBD’s trigger warnings (TWs), and their usefulness. It was stated by me that I admittedly added some TWs ‘for the sake of it’ when we first added TWs to the studio, rather than seeing what the community actually needs, therefore we probably have some TWs for no good reason. Don’t get me wrong, TWs can be incredibly helpful for some, but we don’t see the point in having some on the list when they won’t even prove useful to anyone. We should only really have TWs on the list that multiple users would find considerably helpful, and that would make DBD feel a bit safer for people. So, this brief survey was made so we can get feedback from the community themselves! If you consider yourself a DBDer, it would be really helpful if you could answer the two survey questions in the brief survey above. The only TWs we’re currently considering removing are the ones that were added ‘for the sake of it’ — all of the TWs listed below in question 1 would be in that category, and the rest on the list were added because multiple DBDers requested them, therefore we won’t be removing those other ones. However, this is just *if* we’ll even remove any. We haven’t fully confirmed that we’ll even remove any yet; this is purely so I can collect the data, present it to the other managers, and then we can all decide on what to do regarding TWs. Also, please keep in mind that TWs are there to warn users who can get triggered by a topic — being triggered is not equivalent to feel a bit uncomfortable with a topic. See this project for more information on triggers: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1155798958 Sorry about this part being so lengthy, I didn’t think I’d type so much. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to let me or another manager know!
