The sun was beginning to rise now as the two walked through the forest. They’d been walking for spawn knows how long and had to take mini breaks throughout the time. Two Time often jumped at the slightest of sounds like a tree branch cracking or the wind rushing through the night but Azure was always there to assure them that everything was alright and no one was following them…At least for now there wasn’t. “...How much farther do we have to go…?” Two Time asked, clinging to Azure’s arm like their life depended on it…which it kind of did. “I…I don’t know, my nightshade. I’m not too sure where to even go at this point. I never really thought this through.” Azure brushed a loose strand of hair out from their face. They smiled but they were still worried. They continued walking when they eventually stumbled upon a city. Azure smiled at the sight of people. They both hadn’t seen a living person in a while. “Look! Timey, stores and people. Maybe we can find a place to stay or something.” Azure lifted his hand and pointed around. Two Time’s eyes followed with it. “But…we’re broke, Azure.” Two Time said unlinking their arm that was around Azure’s to hold his hand instead. He smugly grinned. “Says who..?” Azure sat his bag on the ground and kneeled next to it. He was still holding Two Time’s hand as he rummaged through his bag and pulled out three, one-hundered dollar bills. “A-ha!” He laughed as stood back up. “How…? Where’d you even get that?!” Two Time said, picking at the scars and scabs on their arms once again. “Amarah…Well, I took them from him a week before this because I was planning to buy mozzarella sticks with it…but our life is more important…maybe!” Two Time rolled their eyes and laughed. “That's a sin…but clever I have to admit. Also, aren’t you banned from the establishment?” "Well...yeah. That's exactly why I was gonna give you the money to go get them for me!!" Azure smiled, half deviously and half begging. "Lets just go see where we can go, shall we." Azure grabbed a hold of Two Time's hand and proceeded to walk off.
