In the dead of night, some of the Tans who got the mysterious note slipped into the undisclosed location the elusive "NAVE" wanted them. They were about to get involved in the of the oldest and secretive organization in the UCP, and they were not prepared. As they walked it, the looked around and imeditely noticed some things. First off, the room was styled like a noble's palace, or a military commanders estate, in the style of early-mid 19th century Wallia (France). Secondly, there were armed guards, but they looked like cosplayers of the Grand Army of the Republic, uniforms of the late 1800s to early 1900s. They wore Adrian helmets and carried bolt-action rifles, however their helmets were purple instead of dark tan, and had an unknown insignia above the regimental number. The newcomers looked around confused, until a voice called out to them from a pedestal they could not reach. "Halv, newcomers. Welcome to NAVE." Halv? "I'm sure you've noticed the...odd arrangements, however, all will be revealed in time. You came because you agree with our letter, yes?" The newcomers nod. "You have come because you believe us Tans need to fight for our liberties. And you have come to the right place." "Welcome to NAVE: the National Army for a Victorious Emancipation." NAVE is an underground resistance movement officially founded in 1943, just two years after Wallia was annexed into the great Green state, and two years before the formation of the UCP. Originally, it was called the Initiative for Wallian Autonomy (IWA), however, in 1951 something...strange happened. According to NAVE records, a strange figure approached Pierre Partej, the leader of the IWA at the time, and told him that "the people of the Tan lands must unite with their brothers across the sea of desert, cousins across time; you shall be known as NAVE, the National Army for a Victorious Emancipation. You will be named King Kharl Wilham III, after our late king. You must, when you gain power, eliminate all the Reds. Communism took down your brothers here, it will take down you. Take this uniform," he said, handing the NAVE operative uniform over to Pierre. "And dress you soldiers with these. Allow yourself to be our vessel, and we will guide you to victory." Pierre accepted, and he was never the same since. It was almost as if he was possessed. He made radical changes and the Army became almost like a c0lt, almost worshipping the "brothers from the Sea of Desert." nevertheless, they also really wanted Tan independence. And they saw Liberation Day in spite of the civil war as their window of opportunity.
