Chapter 2 [Brightney] I was just minding my own business, reading in my room since the library was closed for many repairs. I didn't believe the handlers and Delilah would actually get around to it though, seeing as they have many other things on their minds. [The doors slam open] Poppy: BRIGHTNEY! I NEED YOU NOW. Brightney: Hold on, what happened? Poppy: ... you need to come see for yourself As they walk past toon after toon it seems, they pass by Bassie and Flyte having a conversation about um... Cocoa it looked like... again. I didn't think too much of it. Heck, Bassie talks about her everyday! We finally reach the library doors. Brightney: Poppy, what are we doing here? And what happened to your bow? Poppy: Don't worry about that bow, *snif* go in. Brightney: What happened he- She stops mid-sentence as she sees books and blankets scattered everywhere [Then she saw it... Looey's head.] Brightney: oh my... [She broke down on the floor] Poppy: It's ok, we'll get through this together. Brightney: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY LIBRARY!? Poppy: NOTHING, THIS WASN'T M-... run. Brightney: THAT'S NOT AN AWNSER! Poppy: SHE'S COMING RUN WHILE YOU CAN! I start to run as fast as I can when I trip over something. Brightney: Toodles? Toodles?: Hi Mrs.Brightne/y/! Brightney: What are you doing in the library? It's not safe here. Toodles?: i know but I heard Popp/y/ and Gourd/y/ here so I thought I should get here! I ran reall/y/ fa-a-a-st! Brightney: Ok go ba- wait... how did you know Poppy AND Gourdy were in here? Brightney: It's ok.... calm down. The creature: *various growls and clicks* Brightney: *steps back* Ok now? [She lifts her hand to hug her and.....] TO BE CONTINUED
