UPDATE | Riding Bat + Lil' Life Update -- Hey everyone! Long time no see (it hasn't been that long but-) Somewhat of a filler update haha, the update part of this will come first and then I'll get on with the life update. I think it's safe to say that autumn is upon us at Wildflower Acres! The trees have all turned to vibrant shades of scarlet and gold, and we've been lucky enough to welcome a new arrival for the season! If you haven't already, meet WF Autumn's Knight, better know as Bat around the barn! After a few weeks on quarantine and introductions, he's officially been added to our horse lineup. Today I took the opportunity to take him out for our first ride together, and boy was he wonderful. I'd been told by his previous owners that Bat liked to rush, and honestly, I don't know why I was expecting any different today! It took us a few tries to keep a steady pace and get him to listen to me, but once we were settled the session breezed by! He seemed a little spooky going into the arena, particularly because of the leaves blowing around (ironic with the bridle charm I picked for him) but after a few times around the arena he settle down. Very glad to be able to own this lovely boy, and I can't wait to see what he has in store. I've had little time for scratch lately between swimming, homework, trying to get decent sleep each night, and other activities. I've been feeling pretty unmotivated recently and just really haven't felt like logging on nor have I had the time. I think I just have a bad case of burnout. This time last year I remember being burnt out from swimming and allergies making my life miserable, and my lack of sleep probably isn't helping. The only times I can log onto scratch are the early mornings before I leave for school, during the day if I have the time, after school if I don't have homework, after swim practice, and weekends. I only have an hour or two of free time during weekdays, and most of that is spent doing homework til' 10pm. I am so sorry to anyone waiting on art orders, tack orders, Springfall breedings, etc. I'll try my best to finish them up over the next few weeks. I don't really have the motivation to reply to comments right now, so if you've had anything you wanted to ask me over the previous weeks I ask that you redirect to here. I'll try to be more active, but I can't make any promises! --
