I see many people on projects, the descriptions of projects, saying “oh, you act like a thirteen year old.” Or “bro is prolly 13” or even “i know people here are 10/12/13 and don’t know how to do [whatever]” This is an issue. I myself just turned thirteen a few months ago. This site was mainly targeted for audiences younger than 19. (Although I’m absolutely friendly with any age :) everyone is welcome, I don’t care, and don’t even take anyone’s opinion on “bro is too old for scratch”) So why would you say those things? It’s also offensive to us, our ages, because not only are you saying that our age group isn’t capable of something, but you are also implying that you, who might just be 14 or just a little older, are supposedly more mature, because you’re older? Or am I misunderstanding, because I am just another one of those “13” immature year olds? In fact, (just in my opinion, please don’t jump me) I feel like I have a well built vocabulary, and that I understand the world just a little more. Trust me, I know a ton of you people are way smarter, maybe even ingenious, but all I ask is please. 13 years is a lot of years on earth. Now, age doesn’t matter in general, a 20+ year old can be..old, but still have tantrums over spilled milk. Now, I’m not saying every adult is like that, but I hope you get my point. If you’re talking about toddlers, then yes, they’re quite tantrum filled, but that’s only because they’re trying to understand us, the world they were magically born into. Please, please understand I’m not making fun, and never will, of you. I’m just trying to say, not everyone will be mature according to age. A 13 year old (or less) can be wiser than a 23 year old.
