FLIPSIDE - invert gravity, survive the run. HOW TO PLAY You're a small orb gliding through an endless corridor. Tap to flip gravity and fall to the opposite wall. Dodge the red crystal spikes, slabs and spinning blades, collect amber gems, and see how far you can get. The run only ends when you crash. 1. Tap (click / Space / Up / Down / W / S) to flip gravity. You drop toward the opposite wall. 2. You can flip again in mid-air to turn around - use it to slip past blades and thread tight gaps. 3. Gems build a combo. Chain them without pausing to raise your multiplier up to x4. 4. Teal shield hexagons protect you from one hit. 5. Every 250 m the world changes: Dawn, Ember, Glacier, Nightfall - and the game keeps getting faster. CONTROLS Click / tap, Space, Up arrow, Down arrow, W or S - flip gravity (also starts and restarts the game) P or the pause button (top right) - pause / resume L or the LEADERBOARD button - open / close the leaderboard (title screen and results card) Click anywhere during the Linear Labs intro to skip it M or the speaker button (top right) - sound on / off Home button on the results card - back to the title screen TIPS - Blades sweep the whole corridor. Watch which way they're going and cross behind them, not in front. - You never have to touch the ground for long: flipping early is safer than flipping late. - A thin amber line marks how far you got last time. Beat it for a "PERSONAL BEST" chime. - Score is metres travelled plus gem points. Medals are awarded for 300, 800, 1600 and 3000 points. - Full combo bar = full multiplier. If the bar runs out, the combo resets. LEADERBOARD Your score is posted automatically when a run ends. Open the board any time with the LEADERBOARD button or the L key. The board shows the top 8 players, one entry per player (their best score). Names can be up to 20 characters. Scores are only posted when you are logged in to Scratch and the project is shared. Otherwise you'll see your local rank only.
