One day, due to a mountain accident, he lost his left arm. By chance, a scientist found him and immediately took him away to experiment by attaching a prosthetic arm. But while they were fitting it on, the scientist was attacked by a black slime, and all the scientists who were supposed to attach the prosthetic ran away. Alec managed to partially attach it himself and tried to escape, but the slime had already attached to him. He struggled desperately, scraping off the slime from his left eye to check the situation, but he was attacked in the process. Alec grew to deeply resent the scientists and mistook other apes for scientists, killing them.] half story[He was just a test subject ape. The room contained only food and water; there was no place to sleep. Three hours into the confinement, Raimon showed little change. After one day, Raimon began talking to himself frequently. After seven days, he started whispering to himself as if speaking to someone who wasn't there. On the twentieth day—the scheduled end of the experiment—the scientists were absent. The food and water supplies had been calculated for a twenty-day duration and had already run out; the scientists had simply forgotten about the experiment for two days. On the twenty-second day, the scientists remembered and went to the room to release him. As they attempted to open the door, they heard a loud pounding sound coming from inside. When they opened it, they found Raimon standing in the corner, repeatedly slamming his face against a pillar that protruded from the floor. "What are you doing?" the scientists asked. Raimon silently turned to show them his face; the repeated impact had caused a massive, gaping wound. He then rushed toward the scientists... ...and tore into one of the scientists' faces with his hands, ripping it open. The scientists were armed and opened fire, but Raimon showed no signs of pain or distress. Raimon is still alive, but the prolonged confinement has shattered his sanity. He now derives pleasure from killing apes.
