[Chapter 16] POV:Yatta The first few minutes passed by like molasses. No one talked, everyone just stood there in awkward silence. Then Sprout ran to the elevator and opened it up and everyone ran in. It was quiet for a bit as everyone sucked in what happen. Then, the elevator creaked. And it creaked some more. Finally, there was a loud CRASH as the elevator groaned to a halt, and tilted sideways, sending every toons plummeting to the right side or left of it. "AAH! WHAT THE F-" Looey screamed as he fell to the right side of the elevator. "What's happening?! Did the elevator break or something!?" Yatta yelled before grabbing on the rails "Everyone just stay calm! I'm sure we can get out of this, okay?!" Sprout yelled to everyone, trying to sound assuring, but failing. The elevator let out another loud creak, and everyone screamed. "EVERYONE HOLD ON!" Sprout shouted. Then, the elevator fell. In shock, Blot passed out. ... ... ... "Hey? You guys alright?" Everything was blurry. Yatta's head hurt- it felt like she bumped her head, but other than that, she didn't feel... that injured? How? As she regained her vision, she could see Scraps opening the elevator door. Blot was shaking scared of what happened. Now she could see more clearly. She sat up. Loeey was trying to calm Blot down but it wasn't working then she heard that voice again "I asked are you guys ok?" Everyone turned around and saw Vee "VEE! OH MY GOD! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?" "Astro base. He sent me here because he heard a crash" Both Sprout and Vee stared at each other and Sprout glared "Berryboy?.." "Vee.." "What... What happened?!" Yatta exclaimed. "Oh, you're awake too..." Astro said, he looked tired but seemed fine. "Don't mind Vee she.. still taking in Flyte coming back." "Yeah.. But.. What happened?" Sprout asked Astro or Vee he didn't care who answered. "Well the elevator crashed due to a broken wire that snapped" [END]
