"do you believe in love at first sight?" whe i first heard this audio, for some reason, i thought of sorastar and maplestar's (@cloudburst- ) friendship. they met as apprentices, and from the very beginning, they were complete opposites he, a charming, ambitious soul whose head went too quick for his heart to catch up to. she, a kind, brave spirit who would always place others before her. how ironic fate is... both of these felines became the youngest leaders their respective clans ever knew, leaders that would change history forever... and a border laying between their relationship, yet the distance never held back the laughter and giggles they often shared. this audio makes me think of a possible conversation they might have, where they're both still young, him a deputy and her a leader, driven by loss, love and will. she, as always, reminds sora to slow down lol ________________________________________ sorastar's reaction to maplestar's death... ________________________________________ it had been a day like any other. sorastar, sorapaw at the time, lingering on the mossclan border as he often did, proud between the treetops as he sought out someone to talk to, someone to charm. even then, he was already well known between those his age as the enigmatic golden feline whose words were almost as beautiful as his piercing diamond gaze was. she was utterly oblivious to the fame he believed he had, and apparently imune to his charms, to much of his dismay. she didn't care if he was smart, or quick, or handsome or annoying. to her, he was just sorapaw... or sorabestcatintheworld, mind you. and to him... she soon became Smiley. it had shocked him-- that kindness, that easy grin and those patient, optimistic eyes that could see light even in the darkests of shadows. it was so unlike anything he'd ever experienced before, so different from the life he had known on pyrothys and later urchinclan, so far from the sky-level expectations both he and his clan set for him that he had began searching for any hidden game he hadn't guessed, a complicated scheme woven around him. quickly, though, that theory crumbled like snow un
