[Ykw lets just get to the point] [All of the individuals in the shelter were asleep, except for Granule] Gran: "... Dear mother of pearl-""Why did Proto think letting all of these creeps follow us was a good idea.." [The shelter door opened. However only Proto woke up, who was just laying down and waiting for everyone else to get up. Granule quickly exited the shelter, and began wandering around] Gran: "Maybe if I run off somewhere, Proto will abandon those creeps to go find me!" [Granule ran as fast as she possibly could. The ground below her was warm and the air was scratchy and unpleasant. Granule kept on scampering until she found somewhere to hide out near the shelter but still far away enough that Proto would have to search far away from the shelter] Gran: "Perfect! All I gotta do now is sit here and wait!" [Granule was about to curl up and sleep when an overseer entered the room.] Gran: "Oh hello little guy!" [The overseer seemed concerned and scared. Suddenly a spear flew past Granule and the overseer. The overseer escaped, but Granule could hear something nearby] Gran: "What's that?!" [It was a deep navy blue adult scavenger with bright red pupilless eyes. It was holding a lantern, two spears, and an explosive spear. It wore a single little green pearl around its neck. It seemed to be investigating the area, probably just searching for resources. Granule squeezed herself behind a pile of trash and watched the scavenger. It immediately noticed Granule and threw a spear in her direction.] Gran: "ACK!""Please don't hurt me!!" [Granule dived out from behind the pile of trash, but the scavenger had already cut off any escape. As it approached Granule, Granule removed a grey pearl from her cloak and gave it to the scavenger] Gran: "Take it and leave!" [The scavenger stared menacingly down at Granule. It pointed at the cloak with it's spear and seemed to be demanding more pearls] Gran: "No I need these!""You can't have them." [She turned away from the scavenger. It aimed it's spear at her. Granule winced and began whining. She heard a hiss before a tongue snatched the spear out of the scavenger's claws. Granule looked behind the scavenger and found it Anenome II glaring at the scavenger with the spear snapped in its jaws. The lizard tackled the scavenger to the ground. The vent leading to the room flickered jade, and Enderlin came speeding out of the vent. She immediately hugged Granule and wrapped her wings around Granule. The rest of the group had eventually exited the vent. Vulcan began consulting with the scavenger until the scavenger gave him the grey pearl back and gave up their necklace. Proto rushed as fast as he could to Granule.] Pro: "Granule!""Don't do that again!""You scared me!" Gran: "I'm sorry! I'm just worried about all the other guys we've been bringing around!" Pro: "It's fine but look!""We all worked really hard to find you!""You would be done if it weren't for them!" [Vulcan unstringed the necklace and gave Granule both the green pearl and the grey pearl to store in her cloak. By now Enderlin was crying a little bit] End: "Please don't ever do that again!""We were so worried!" Gran: "I won't I promise!" [Epilogue] [It was a private chat, at least he hoped it would be private, Storms upon Cloud Nine immediately found any chance to talk to Flowering Orchids in Bloom as soon as he could] SuCN: "ORCHID!" FOiB: "Oh hey you're the new guy Shards added to the group." SuCN: "Right.. You don't know me at all..""You deleted your memory." FOiB: "I wouldn't say that's true-" SuCN: "What?" FOiB: "Keep a secret okay?""I stored my memories in a pearl!" SuCN: "Interesting way to get around Shards' rule." FOiB: "There's only one problem... Many cycles ago a small purple flying slugcat took my pearl!""I couldn't stop her in time!" SuCN: "So you really are incompetent and stupid.." FOiB: "First of all that's rude, but if you can help I need to get this pearl back!""It's a bright green pearl!" SuCN: "I have 2 or so slugcats who can carry pearls.""Can you keep a secret too?" FOiB: "Of course!" SuCN: "I never deleted my memories of anyone!""I just pretended to make a compromise with Shards!""She thinks I desperately made an agreement with her!" FOiB: "I should try that too when I get the pearl back!" SuCN: "Good idea, my friend."
