The Cool Down: Once the tank empties, the 5-minute refill begins.The Survival Tool: While refilling, the player switches to a secondary WW2 weapon (like a M1 Garand rifle or a combat knife) that does low damage but keeps them alive. The Twist: If the NPC killer corners them while they are recharging, the player can press a button to detonate their own fuel tank. This kills the player but heavily damages or stuns the killer, sacrificing themselves to save teammates.
