Chapter 8: All around me, there were children saying last minute goodbyes to their parents. A little while off, there was a red-haired man swinging a child around in the air. Nearby, a man and a woman with flaming red hair were watching. There were more children near them as well. Every so often, others would chance a glance at this man and his family. I wondered why. A whistle blew and I hopped onto the train. I walked along it trying to find an empty - were they compartments? No trains had compartments, not these days. But it looked like this one did. All the compartments seemed full. One was almost empty, though. I slid into it and asked the girl "Do you mind if I sit here?" She nodded. "It's not like anyone else is. I'm Fay Douglas. Muggle born. It seems like some people here will judge you on that. Who are you?" "I'm Holly Chang," I said. " and...... I don't actually know if I'm muggle born. I've lived at an orphanage my whole life. All of this is still pretty new to me. You?" We went on like this for ages, eventually changing into our uniform. After a while, one of the girls I'd seen on the platform came in. She had rolled her eyes when the red-haired man had played with the girl. "Hello, I'm Rose. Rose Granger-Weasley. I'm Harry Potter's niece. I suppose you've heard of me. Oh, can I sit with you?" Me and Fay glanced at each other. Slowly, slowly, I said "Yes, you can sit with us. But I haven't heard of you and I don't think Fay has either. Who's Harry Potter?" Rose looked stunned. "New to the wizarding world, then?" She finally said. "Harry Potter is an orphan. An orphan who went on to save us all..." On and on she went, covering everything from her parents important role in 'The Great War' as she described it to how drastically the school uniform had changed since their time at Hogwarts. It was sooooo boring. After a few hours, we were saved by our first sight of Hogwarts...
