I did have a bit of trouble with his posing but I think overall it turned out really well! WARNING: I go on a tiny bit of a ramble about the process of Solstice's artwork after this, so feel free to stop here, however if you'd like to hear a bit about how I created the final piece, go on ahead! For Solstice's artwork I originally wanted to have his mask off his face, but chose not to cause I thought it wouldn't look as good. I also left his hood off, if only because I didn't think it would make sense to have it up in stormy weather like that. I actually made two versions of this scene. The original was set in a field rather than in the sky, however I didn't like how the background looked so I removed the grass and redid the sky to make the vibe more how I intended it. I also think removing the field draws more attention to the character, since the green clashed a bit with the piece. I do love how the rendering came out, and it was a super fun process creating it! The blue highlights bring out the artwork more and i think the lineless style turned out nicely! Overall I'm really proud of the art, and though there's always things I can do better, i still love how it ended up! I do have a few more character in mind that i'd like to draw, though we'll see if I end up completing them or not.
