i thought i could make a song recommendations project so i can share some good songs with you! i, however, ended up A LOT of good songs, so i turned it into a randomizer with my coding skill *pushes up glasses*. if you want more detail on the songs scroll down... if not, go into full screen and keep randomising! ☀️ all songs mentioned 1 — disorder, disbelief (kiyosumi) i am so absolutely, completely sold to the breakcore genre. found this one through an edit of takopi's original sin. how can a song make me feel this way? 2 — i'm gonna toesa (soyeon) soyeon is, of course, my ult bias, and i love seeing her do the music she wants to do, separate to i-dle. the lyrics are so relatable to me personally. romantic! 3 — red bottoms (adela) NOBODY WANTS DIRTY SHOES, NOBODY WANTS DAD ISSUES. yes, adela wrote that, and yes, she cooked. this song is my heaven bro... 4 — trying to feel alive (porter robinson) porter robinson's entire 'nurture' album is crazy good... i chose this song to put in this randomizer because, well, it somehow SOUNDS like trying to feel alive. it sounds like a sapling sprouting from a crack in the concrete. how can someone convey an idea that well? 5 — squeezy (ourbirthday) okay, everyone is sleeping on ourbirthday. what happened to the hype for hungry? i can hear the black influences in their music and i'm here for it. 6 — hyper crush (artms) all the songs in <hyper-ego> are really good, but i think this one might be my favourite? anyways, if you like it, you BETTER listen to the whole album. 7 — busy woman (sabrina carpenter) yeah, kinda mainstream, but busy woman is a song i kept coming back to. it's soooooo damn catchy oh my god HAEUGH 8 — renegade (taylor swift) idk if people still know this fact about me but i'm a pretty big taylor swift fan! though in recent years i've become more picky, this is one of my favourites... not just because of the music but the lyrics which i relate to myself and some of my friends. it's vulnerable, and idk if i could ever admit something like that to myself. 9 — bot bakka (phantom siita) i remain bot bakka holic! the highlight of this song is their voices i think. i really love the girls' vocal timbres. phantom siita is just really peak guys~ 10 — after school (weeekly) weeekly come baaaackkkk! they really became nugu after this song... i dont even know if they've disbanded or not but i think they have. this is one of the first kpop songs i listened to, and it's just so catchy, so nostalgic, so fun! 11 — dontneedyouanymore (marquise) i'll be honest, i am ambivalent towards most of the song, but the chorus is just heavenly. especially with marquise's voice. the heartbreak cut me into pieces!!! 12 — before i leave (regina song) koto reference since she introduced me to regina song... this song is so cute and it makes me feel unaroace =D also the artist has the sweetest voice 13 — virtual angel (artms) WAKE UP this was my number one song of 2024 and if you haven't heard it WHAT ARE YOU DOING!???! my entire disc profile is based off this song hehe 14 — black (g-dragon) hahah i found out abt this song through that one kiof controversy. i honestly love it so much, the lyricism is beautiful and the instrumental too. jennie's voice is the cherry on top. 15 — why so lonely (wonder girls) wonder girls are so iconic... tell me, rewind, nobody... this is one song that itches the right spot in my brain 16 — different girl (nmixx) let's be honest, the entire heavy serenade album deserves to be here. but different girl is, imo, super underrated and such a refreshing song. 17 — internet angel (aiobahn +81) internet angel- from the nso anime! it's honestly just as peak as the other nso songs but i picked this one to put in the playlist bcz... uhmm... idk just enjoy it 18 — why why (shannon) this is another old-ish song but so catchy and cute! even though shannon hated it, i do really like it, and her vocals are so good. it's naive yes, but who cares!! 19 — fallen angel (jennie) jennie really did it this time. im willing to forget abt the racism and the vepe thing IF SHE KEEPS RELEASING MUSIC LIKE THIS (half joking - i dont support racism or vepe) that guitar sample/recording (whatever) is absolutely beautiful, especially when it gets sped up. and the lyrics as well AGUERH 20 — anybody can find love - except you.
