Backstory: Emris wasn't b0rn Royalty. She created the throne. The Mermaids, being 0ppresed by the Sirens, were h3lpless and leaderless. Reluctant at first, Emris built the Throne and the Kingdom. In a few short years, most of the Mermaids practically w0rshiped Emris due to her protection, but some disagreed with her decisions, beliefs, and overall her y0ung age as a leader. This caused her to become cold towards those who used to be close to her; Challenge the Forbidden Song, and you won't last l0ng. Emris is a Siren, but she was 0utcast from the other Sirens because she d!sapp0ved of the way they treated the Mermaids. Hence why some Mermaids don't agree with Emris even though she saved them.
