-------------------------ScratchPlace------------------------- A large (60,000 pixel) global pixel art canvas inspired by wplace.live and utilizing Scratchattach I am sorry if the server is down and the project does not load. If that happens, comment "Down" in the comments and I will try to fix the issue as soon as possible. Loading takes 1-2 minutes and the progress bar will pause every once in a while for a 5-10 seconds so that the server doesn't overload cloud updates and get blocked. ⚠️--Read the instructions BEFORE using the project!--⚠️ -------------------Instructions + Controls-------------------- You must wait for all of the chunks to load in before you can edit (It will take 1 - 2 minutes). I am sorry that this takes so long, but right now I have no way to make it faster. This project currently requires a keyboard, and you must be a Scratcher to use it. E - Enter or exit edit mode. If you exit edit mode without sending your data to the server, your changes will not be saved. U - Press this to undo edits while in edit mode. This does not save over ocurrences of edit mode. Enter - Press this while in edit mode to save your changes to the cloud. To prevent spamming, you can currently only save 10 pixels at a time. Z and X - Z (Zoom the canvas in), X (Zoom the canvas out) Arrow Keys - Move the canvas around H and J - H (Show the status variable), J (Hide the status variable). I strongly recommend you to show the status variable. Nothing that goes against the Scratch guidelines will ever be permitted, and will result in a permanent ban with no exceptions. Sometimes when you load into the project, not all of the pixels will load in. If this happens, they missing pixels will generally appear within 30 seconds Thank you, and enjoy the project! -------------------------How it Works------------------------- This project uses Scratchattach, which is a Python library created by @timmccool, to maintain the backend server of the project and send data back to it. The server is constantly sending data for different chunks back to Scratch in a predetermined order, and when you confirm your edits, the data that Scratchattach sends back gets changed.
