I try to portray character’s feelings and stuff accurately even when I myself have not experienced, but I believe it would be kind of insensitive towards people who have had to go to a boarding school if I portray it wrong with no prior knowledge. Characters ✦ Rowan - she/her - transfem Rowan’s mother - she/her - straight ally Oliver - he/him - gay Blurb ✦ Quinn had always been a girl, always felt like a girl. But after two kids in her book club come out, she begins to question exactly who she is. Rowan had been sent to a boarding school because she was a girl. After being brought back and apologized to, she’s expected to forgive everyone immediately. But she isn’t ready, and doesn’t know when she will be. The school puts on a theater production, and the two meet each other along with a surprising side character from past chapters. They work together to try and figure themselves out.
