So, I know that there have been some questions about characters and their personalities and the like. So, I figured, since I was already going to once we had all of our voice actors, I’d just go ahead and write the entire script. Check back every once in a while for updates! UNKNOWN VOICE (Prof. Luna): “Congratulation, Ella! Your new journey as a Pokémon Trainer starts today! And here is your new Partner Pokémon! Number 394, are you ready?” *a pair of eyes open from a dark screen, the camera moving forward; the angle switches to show a female Eevee, with it’s head looking down, and a gloomy look on it’s face; it walks slowly toward a girl with dark brown hair wearing a blue shirt with a Poké Ball on it and blue jeans, and jumps on her shoulder; the Eevee looks towards the girl’s face and forces a smile* EEVEE #394: “Time to…begin my new life, I guess…” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *The opening would normally show the logo in front of a black background, but it doesn’t for the first episode* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *camera shows an exterior view of a large grey building with bold white letters reading “Partner Inc.” during the daytime, white letters in the bottom left corner of the screen read “Episode 1: Reunion and Partition” in both English and Japanese (“エピソード1：再会と分割”); camera switches to the location from before, with the girl, the Eevee (both in the same positions they were in before), and a woman in a lab coat, a solid turquoise (blue-green) shirt, red semicircular glasses, and dark blue hair* BLUE-HAIRED WOMAN (Prof. Luna): “Do you have a name for her yet?” ELLA: “How about…Uni? *turns to her left to the Eevee on her shoulder* Do you like that name?” EEVEE #394 (Narrator): “Pokémon, according to humans, can understand humans…feelings? From what I understand, it basically we can understand some things at random, but not everything else. And they can’t understand us PERIOD. Oh, I’m the Eevee on the girl’s shoulder by the way.” EEVEE #394: “Oh. It’s that thing again. *nods* Sure. Uni works.” ELLA: “Then it’s settled! Uni it is!” BLUE-HAIRED WOMAN (Prof. Luna): “We always love to give Trainers that “first catch” experience. So, *pulls a standard Poké Ball out of her pocket* you wanna try? *extends arm out*” ELLA: “*grabs Poké Ball, hesitates* What happened to her, Professor Luna? PROFESSOR LUNA: “…Her friends all left before her. Not only that, but the one of her friends who left before her just two days ago…let’s just say they were going through a rough time…one of the few times I think I’ve ever seen with Pokémon where I can really understand what they were saying — e-enough to know they probably would rather keep it private… Sorry…” ELLA: “Well….then I guess we’ll have to cheer you up when we get home! You got that, Uni?” UNI: “Still don’t understand you…” ELLA: “Right…you don’t understand me…Well, anyways…um…Here… *puts the Poké Ball up to Uni; ball rolls around three times then clicks; phone buzzes* ROTOM PHONE (Ella/Male Voice): “*comes out of Ella’s pocket* Eevee has been registered to your Pokédex.” ELLA: “*taps screen*” ROTOM PHONE (Ella): “Eevee: The Evolution Pokémon. A Normal-Type. An Eevee’s genes allow for extremely high adaptability. They are comfortable in the majority of environments, and are the only known Pokémon with eight evolutions, which makes them a popular choice for new Trainers.” ELLA: “Gee, thanks for stating the obvious. I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t know all of that stuff.” ROTOM PHONE (Ella): “Additional information can be provided if requested.” ELLA: “Well, okay then, sure.” ROTOM PHONE (Ella): “Eevee are known for being the closest Pokémon to humans, both in terms of behavior range and genetics. They will often vary much more heavily in terms of individuality than most…*voice gradually drowns out into the background*” UNI: “/I wonder how 139’s doing… Hopefully she’s okay…/“ ROTOM PHONE (Ella): “You have a call from Olivia. You have a call from Olivia. *repeats*” ELLA: “*answers, phone floats to ear* I told you I’d call you when I was done! Although, I’ve probably taken up enough of your time, Professor.” PROFESSOR LUNA: “Honey, this is my break, and it ends the second you leave — take as long as you need to.” OLIVIA: “Sorry! Make SURE you call back as soon as you get out!” ELLA: “I know, I know. Bye. *ends call* Sorry, was there anything else you had for me?” PROFESSOR LUNA: “Well, judging by the fact that you’re getting your first Pokémon at TWELVE, and not TEN, I’m guessing either something happened or you don’t plan on going on a journey anytime soon.” ELLA: “Probably not.” PROFESSOR LUNA: “Well, I don’t think I have anything else for you. Do you have anything you’d like to ask me?” ELLA: “Do you know…where Uni’s friends are now?” [moved to N&C; wow this is gonna take several projects isn’t it]
Credits~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Music: “Cycling Road (also called Pokémon Road)” from Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee. The reason is, at least in Let’s Go, it is the only place where you can catch non-starter Eevee, so, at least in my mind, it acts as a theme for Eevee. Then again, the same goes for Pikachu in Viridian Forest and it’s not really much of a theme for Pikachu, so… I’ll probably make a remix of the song at some point. Script cnt.: PROFESSOR LUNA: “Well, I know the names of the Trainers who received the other Eevee, but I’m not allowed to say who for privacy reasons, and even if I could, there’s no telling if their even in KANTO, *camera switches to outside, showing parts of the city, including the billboard at the main entrance* let alone Cerulean City.” ELLA: “I guess that makes sense. Well, I guess I ought to get going. Goodbye, Professor! Thank you so much!” PROFESSOR LUNA: “You’re welcome! Have fun you two!” ELLA: “We will!” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *camera switches to a light-yellow-painted stone house with a teal-and-cornflower (both different shades of blue) roof and a yard in front and back, a barbecue stands empty and cooled in a corner of the front yard with wood-and-metal benches and an open and empty cooler with white text in the bottom left corner of the screen that reads “The Paige Residence”; Ella walks up to the front door, Uni trailing behind her, gloomy; Ella pulls a key out of her pocket and opens the door; camera switches to the interior of the house, with white wooden and marble furniture; To the left of the door, there’s a staircase mostly behind a wall. In front is a kitchen, with a mostly white cupboards, counters, and the like, although some appliances are black. To the right is a living room, with a black couch, two end tables on either side, and a coffee table in front of the couch that can have the top pulled up an forward to extend closer to the couch, as well as reveal two small areas for additional storage. This particular household often holds the TV remote and black rubber coasters in the left (from the perspective of one sitting on the couch) area and a controller for a gaming system in the right area with a Pikachu design on it (thats definitely not based off my switch pro controller). There’s a TV in front of the coffee table, with a walkway in-between the two. To the left of the area is a back door. The walls in the house are painted light yellow. A man with a green collared shirt and brown hair and a woman with a pink shirt with red glasses and her long hair tied behind her head in an…er…(well how am I supposed to know as the NON-female?) those little sphere-ish things with the rubber-band looking thing holding it in place, are grabbing items from a white fridge and a white drawer under a counter, things like food and cooking utensils and stuff* ELLA: “*enters front door* Hey. *closes door* I’m home. ELLA’S MOM: “Oh! So this your new Partner Pokémon, isn’t it? What’s…well, first off, is it a boy or girl. ELLA: “Girl. *looks down to her left at Uni* Her name is Uni.” ELLA’S DAD: “I think Olivia said she was coming over, along with Max and a few others.” ELLA: “Oh, great! *doorbell rings; Ella opens door*” OLIVIA: “Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Paige! Am I early?” ELLA’S MOM: “By about three or four hours! I only JUST told Ella you were even coming.” OLIVIA: “Well, I wanted to meet Uni in person! *bends down to match Uni’s height* Hi! It’s nice to meet you, Uni! I’m Olivia! I hope we can be great friends!” UNI: “/Olivia, huh? Well, she seems nice./” OLIVIA: “*turns head toward Ella* I think Max will be here in a few minut- *doorbell rings*” ELLA: “*opens door; nervously* Oh, um, hey, Max! Um…come on in!* MAX: “Actually, I was thinking, since we’ve both got Pokémon now…” UNI: “/Oh, don’t tell me…/“ MAX: “We could have your first battle?” ELLA: “Uh, y-yeah. Sure!
