For the past couple years, I have been dependent on my school-distributed computer for scratch. I just had to hope that the district didn't block scratch. well, as of September twenty first, twenty twenty-six, sometime between three fifteen PM and four o'clock, my school district blocked scratch. This was devastating to me. I had just recently gotten back into scratching and had been working on some pretty cool stuff when they blocked it. I realized that the only way I could do scratch now was to do it on my home computer, which meant doing it on an extremely slow device that I have to get unlocked by a parent anytime I want to use it (seriously, my school laptop is better than this computer that has a massive freaking box next to it. look up this "DELL Desktop Computer XPS 8930 XPS8930-7194BLK Intel Core i7-8700 8GB DDR4 1TB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 Windows 10 Home 64-bit" and go to images.). This was a major problem because most of the time that I'm on scratch is during random bursts of free time, which meant that I was only really going to be able to do it on the weekends. I'll try to get on during the week, but if all else fails, there's a competition I entered and if I win, I will get a laptop for free. The only problem with that is that the winners will be picked in the spring semester twenty twenty-seven, which means that's a no go until spring. And I have one more back-up if that fails too. I have an extremely unstable job working concessions, and I might be able to make enough money off of it to buy my own laptop.
