Moonspirit was born to Blizzard and Mulberry in a rouge group. Back then, she was only called Moon. Her mom's older brother Winter was the leader of the group, and her mom's younger brother Obsidian was the healer. When Moon was about two moons, tragedy struck. Her family got the worst case of whitecough, and only Moon survived. Her father? D3@d. Mother? D3@d. Mildew (brother) and Daisy (sister)? D3@d. Even her uncles were d3@d. Moon expected to be taken care of, but when no one stepped up, she became scared. She confronted the new leader, Shard, demanding to know why no one was taking care of her. He growled and pinned her small body against a wall "You're a curse! You were the only one to survive the pandemic!" and with that, he scratched Moon's right eye, and exiled her. Moon was only a small kit, a defenseless kit... how could she live? But StarClan found her. They told her that they could keep her alive, if she listened to them. Moon had no other choice, life or death were her only options, and she chose StarClan. They saved her life over and over again. And when Moonspirit was about 15 moons old, she joined EclipseClan. Over the moons (before she joined), she let fur grow over her right eye, concealing it. She only ever shows it and tells her story to cats she's close to, or cats that need a reminder that you can't give up hope.
