~~~~~~~~~~????DAY,MOURNING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I stop counting the days, they probably wheren't right anyway. We dug ourselves a new den, and I am mighty proud of it. Ferns hide the entrance, and it leads to a cavern like the old one. "Let's go hunt. It smells like an elk is nearby, and it will be an easy k!ll. It'll be big enough for all of us." crystal said, starting toward the tunnel out. "Sure." I say. "The storage hole is empty anyways." I follow Crystal outside. The smell of elk is so strong! Bolt followed us, and Snowy stayed behind. "I can't wait untill I find a way out of here. The elk don't taste the way they did in the forest." bolt says as we track the elk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~LATER~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "We're BACK!" Bolt shouts as we enter the cavern, draging the elk behind us. We eat our fill and put the rest in the storage hole. "Where are they!?" A voice outside shouts. I walk outside to investagate, and see nothing. I keep walking untill I reach a wall. "Look there's one!" The shout startels me, and I jump into the air, flying above the trees. "No! Your wings not healed yet!" As another human says that, I fall right at the entrance to the den. They don't notice the den untill Bolt walks out to see what made the thump noise. "SHADOW!" Bolt shouted, as she saw me lieing in the ferns. "Humans." I say weakly. Bolt smiles faintly, if I was a pup singing the ABC's. "Yes Shadow, humans."
