So the first two are my reference photos. The other photos are work-in progress. I put what I did. I used colored pencils and alcohol markers. Don't mind my terrible thumbnail. I just didn't want my art to be the thumbnail. It's looks bad and I made a lot of mistakes. So I'm sorry!!! WARNING: I talked a lot after this so you don't have to read it. I'm really sorry!!! Okay so why I chose what I chose. This is not canon kinda just head canon. Anyways it's just my own thought process watered down. I realized she didn't have glints in her eyes. So I'm not 100% sure in your art style you do this. But that could mean she 's sad. But her outfit is really adorable and happy looking. (I think in my opinion). Plus you said this " This is Moon/??? (It’s part of the lore I swear-) and um magical girl goes boom and has a sad backstory… she started out as a neon purple and green Gacha pop star idol hybrid princess oc idk how we got here". So I kept the glintless eyes. And then gave her a cute idol pose. But made her look a bit sad. I kinda wrote a whole essay here (a really bad one).
