Heres the story! Story: The Purr-fect Misfortune The sun was shining bright in Numberland, and Numberblock 7 was having the luckiest day ever, finding rainbows wherever he walked. But just a few hills away, a brand new Numberblock was figuring out who they were. With a soft "Meow!", Numberblock 87 stepped out of the Pattern Palace. Unlike the others, 87 was shaped like a giant, blocky cat. They had two pointy ears at the top of their column, a long square tail that twitched, and whiskers made of bright math symbols. "Ooh, a new friend!" cried 3, bouncing over. "Let's play!" 87 purred happily and took a step forward. CRACK! A floor tile suddenly broke, and 87 tripped, tumbling down the hill. They rolled past 4, knocked over 9’s square club, and landed right in a puddle of purple paint. "Oh dear," 87 sighed, shaking the paint off their paws. "Every time I try to do something, a bit of bad luck follows me. I guess being an 87-block cat means I'm a bit of a magnet for mishaps!" Numberblock 13 walked by and gasped. "A fellow unlucky block? And a cat?! This is terrible luck!" 13 split into a 10 and a 3 in panic. But 87 just smiled and twitched their whiskers. They leapt into the air, did a perfect flip, and landed squarely on all four paws. "I might be unlucky," 87 meowed cheerfully, "but cats always land on their feet!" From that day on, 87 became Numberland's favorite clumsy feline, proving that even if you have a little bad luck, you can always bounce back.
