(not a real chinafake) Press space to end his suffering Credits to buddyemmit for the destruction physics
Oh boy, where do I even start with this thing? I got this from eBay for like 5 dollars plus shipping, considering its condition, but I had to save him. It looked way better in the photos, but when I actually got it, it was literally filled with sand. Obviously, it didn't work; every metal part on it was rusty. I am sure that this was used as a sandbox or beach toy. I had to take the entire thing apart and clean everything, replace the battery contacts, switch, speaker, motor, most of the wires, and every metal shaft in the gearbox. Against all odds, the sound chip actually worked fine. Unfortunately, the rest of the arm and the left track are just completely gone and I can't really do anything about it, I would just 3d print new ones but my 3d modeling skills are nowhere near good enough yet. The pupils were gone so I drew on some new ones with a sharpie, it looks a little creepy but it's alright. After a while, I was able to get it to this state, it's not perfect by any means but it does function. As you can probably tell, this is a later gen variant because it has extremely factored audio and an LED rather than a light bulb.
