LITEngine 1 This project has been my personal text engine in some of my projects for quite a long time, but I never completely set it up for release. I find it has the features I need for most basic projects that require text rendering and that it can easily be built upon because of its simple and intuitive code. LITEngine 1 is a 94 block, high performance, fast stamp text engine that is easily portable and does not create too much lag. This project comes equipped with the font audiowide, but it has also been used with the font Radikal Bold in some of my other projects! KEY FEATURES: -All colors of text available, but currently set up for black and white specifically -Line wrapping, but not with smart word wrapping -Intuitive code that is easy to update and build on top of -Easy font switching + compatibility HOW TO SWITCH FONTS: Easily switching fonts is one of the best features that LITEngine 1 has to offer, with this feature being one of the reasons it was built. Switching the font takes just 5 steps and can be done quickly and easily in two minutes! --1: Click and hold on the sprite called "LITEngine 1" and export it to your files. --2: Go to fonts.google.com, find a font you like, and download it --3: Go to gemini.google.com (no account needed), and give it this prompt "Create a .txt file of all of the Scratch x-coordinate widths of the font [name of the font you downloaded] in the order lowercase, uppercase, numbers, symbols. In each line of text, only include the numbers, not the character" Click the download button on that file and save it. --4: Go to https://utils.griffpatch.academy/ (it should take you to a font uploader tool), and import your .ttf or .otf file (found. by double clicking the created zip file from the download and opening the file it creates). Choose the font, select modify existing sprite, and upload the file from the very beggining. --5: Go to your scratch project and click the upload sprite button and upload the sprite created by Griffpatch's website. Find the list called text widths, click and hold, and import the file generated by Gemini. You are done! Your text engine should now work! CREDIT: You must give credit when using this text engine.
