tw// racism, violence BEFORE YOU READ I AM IN NO WAY SUPPORTING BTS AND THEY HAVE DONE #btsdisband. if you clicked on this project you probably have seen this. this is my opinion on it. About BTS BTS is a group under BigHit Music with their parent company being HYBE labels, they are a seven member group consisting of: RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung kook. BTS debuted on June 13, 2013, with their single album 2 Cool 4 Skool and lead track "No More Dream". Over the years they have accumulated 55.3 billion streams on Spotify and well over $4 billion to $5 billion in cumulative revenue. As we can see they are successful, wealthy and have an incredibly large fan base. But sometimes all of those things can really get to your head. BTS has been involved in many, many scandals. The Scandals. One of the biggest scandals was in 2018. In 2018 Jimin was seen in Japan wearing a liberation-day- t-shirt featuring a picture of an atomic bomb explosion and next to the image was Korean independence phrases. This followed an earlier picture that resurfaced of RM wearing a hat with a Nazi-associated symbols. Those incidents resulted in BTS’s Japanese TV appearances getting canceled and BigHit having to issue a formal apology. That scandal was 8 years ago and since then many more scandals have happened. One of the more recent ones was when members RM and J-hope attended a Chris Brown concert on August 12 2026. This caused MAJOR backlash to the members because of Chris Brown's history. TW // violence, death threats. In 2009 Chris Brown assaulted his (now ex) girlfriend Rihanna, he punched her, bit her arm, and left her with visibly severe injuries.. In 2017 he had threatened to kiII his (now ex) girlfriend Karrueche Tran, he had also punched her in the stomach and pushed her down the stairs. He has also done other things but I was just saying that to give you a slight look into his terrible history. As we can see RM and J-hope attending his concert was NOT a good choice because it kind of seemed like they just looked over the fact that he (Chris Brown) did those things. BTS has also gotten backlash for their “This is not a bomb” merch and other things. TW // racism Also some members (I’m not sure who) have said the “N” word… The Fandom (Armys…) Now before you armys freak out I'm saying this right now, I am talking about a specific kind of army who is not kind and stuff like that. Also for this section i’ll be talking about the bad armys so i wont be saying some and stuff so yeah im not talking about all of them. Now…. The armys… Armys is one of the most notorious fandoms for being very aggressive, toxic, and extremely defensive. Armys sometimes put down other groups. Fandoms, people for no good reasons. I have come across many things online talking about how “Oh this group copied BTS” meanwhile its just a sutpid thing, like I saw one where it was saying how Stray Kids copied BTS because during the concepts BTS walks around saying hi to the fans and Stray Kids did the same so that automatically becomes copying… It is not like BTS invented walking. Armys have also sent death threats to people. They are also extremely blind when it comes to the terrible things that BTS has done. I will not get into anymore about the Armys because I dont want some of them to find me and cancel me. Yeah I'm not getting very into depth about this because it is pretty self explanatory. is basically a tag going around saying for BTS to disband. My Take On It TW // death threats So personally I do think BTS should disband, I feel like it will kind of detox the kpop community in general and kind of slowly heal it. So yes I do agree with but there are some things I don't agree with, such as sending death threats to the members, holding the members accountable for army's actions (because at the end of the day armys cause a lot of the drama between fandoms *ie stay against army). So yeah, if BTS disbands the industry won’t crumble people wont explode and yeah… what do you think? Do you agree? WELP thats it... this was fun to write... I didn't read this over so if there is spelling errors don't get mad... byebye
