Fay was sitting in a compartment on the Hogwarts Express with Lily, Hugo, and Rose. Albus and James had gone to another compartment to sit with some friends. Suddenly, the door opened. "Hello. Do you know where Albus is? I'm Scorpius." "Oh, hello Scorpius. Albus is with James in a compartment further up the train. It's the first one on the right." "Thanks," he said, and left. "Shall we put on our robes now?" asked Hugo. "Yes!" They put on their robes and sat back down. Shortly after, the witch who sold sweets came by. Fay bought a few Chocolate Frogs. "Lily, when do we finally get there?" asked Hugo. "Oh, that’ll take a while. About four hours yet. It’s only two o'clock, after all!" she replied. "Whaaat? That long?" asked Fay. "Yep. Want to play Wizard's Chess?" asked Hugo. "No. I don't feel like it today. Shouldn't we read our books instead?" said Fay. "Nope!" said Lily. Just then, a girl and a boy walked in. "Hello. Can we sit with you?" asked the boy. "Sure." "I'm Alice Longbottom, and this is my little brother, Cedric." "I'm Fay Fox, and these are Lily Luna Potter and Hugo Granger-Weasley." The boy was evidently heading to Hogwarts for the first time, as he wasn't wearing house robes. The girl, however, was wearing Gryffindor robes. "What year are you in?" asked Fay. "I'm starting fourth year, and my brother Cedric is starting first. And you?" "We're all new, too," said Hugo. "Cool." "I'm currently leading the D.A. Would you guys like to join? My father is Professor Longbottom. He knew your parents—Lily and Hugo!" "Really? That's cool," said Lily, who had remained silent until then. They spent some time together and chatted. Then the train arrived at Hogwarts, and Fay, Lily, Hugo, and Cedric crossed the lake in the boats. Rose and Alice took the carriages. Finally, they stood before the Great Hall.
