**NOMINATIONS END OCTOBER 14** The Appel Awards are back for 2026! In a few weeks, YOU'LL be able to vote for the best players, levels, and achievements of the year! The first step in this community-driven process is nominating the "Elder Council", the judges that decide which nominees make the final ballot. If you want to nominate someone for this position, comment their username below! There are a few requirements for them however: - They MUST have the cord, as it is our primary place for having an organized, private discussion. - They must be active in the community, or at least have a general knowledge on recent important events, projects, etc. - They should strive to help with the process as much as possible. Being on the Council is an important job! - They should be able to handle differing opinions in a cool and collected manner; fighting others only adds to the problem. Overall, we will be selecting a total of up to 8 people to join the Council. They will be selected on whether they meet these requirements, and then by whoever has the most nominations. The window for nominations closes on October 14! Also, there is no limit on how many people one person can nominate, so go ahead!
