Episode 5 The air in the library is thick with the smell of old parchment and dust. Me and Virgo are hidden away in a corner of the library in the restricted section… we’re not supposed to be here. Virgo is sketching in the margin of his potions book. I peek out the side of the bookshelf. Draco is walking about tripping up muggleborns, smirking and strutting with crabbe and goyle. He’s so… perfectly Malfoy. I was once like that. Before I met Virgo a few weeks ago. Then, I was just a Malfoy with an oversized trunk, power and wealth. But now I’m friends with the child of a monster, the Malfoy so imperfect, so unlike the others. I glance at Virgo. He gives me small smile he wore when I slid into his compartment on the train. I smile back. “You shouldn’t be here you know.” A girl’s voice says right behind me, making me jump. Virgo narrows his eyes. “This is the restricted section!” I turn around and a tall girl, with silvery blue hair, pale skin and a smile looks at me and Virgo. “You’re the riddle boy aren’t you?” She says to Virgo. “Uhuh.” Virgo mumbles using his potions book to cover up his face. “Have you apparated?” I say turning towards the girl. “‘You cannot apparate between or in or out of hogwarts grounds’ a history of magic page 284.” Virgo and the girl say in sync. “Who even are you?” Virgo asks lowering the book. “Celeste Ollivander the only living female ollivander.” She shifts her weight onto one foot and puts a hand on her hip. “And you *still* shouldn’t be here. I have permission from Professor Flitwick.” She leans in and excitedly whispers, “he says I’m getting quite proficient at charms!” I roll my eyes and Virgo coughs awkwardly. “So… Ollivander. Mind being a tad bit polite and giving us some privacy?” “I’m not that dumb you know, I’m a ravenclaw.” “Not my problem.” I shrug. “And *I* could call a prefect!” “Well um actually… Professor Snape allowed us here!” Virgo says quickly. Celeste nods and disappears into the shelves of books. “Phew that was close!” Virgo laughs letting out a shaky breath. “Have you got the book?” I ask. “Yup right here!” Virgo shows me a book tucked under his arm. We disappear with the disillusionment charm and race to our common room. We see the black lake through the windows of the space we know only too well. What is dumbledore hiding from us on that third corridor?
