His animal traits were never something he particularly thought about, they were simply part of who he was. From a young age, however, he was fascinated by the military and the rigid structure surrounding it. Rules were comforting to him. There was always an answer, always an order, always something he was supposed to do. He eventually enlisted and became known for being exceptionally disciplined. He's quiet, observant, and tends to take instructions literally. He's not necessarily cold, he just has difficulty expressing affection in conventional ways. His fellow soldiers sometimes mistake his silence for intimidation. It's actually because Ivanushka has absolutely no idea what to say. He's much softer than he looks.
