The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia formally declares a Guarantee of Independence for the Republic of Slovenia and the Federation of Bosnia: -If either Slovenia or Bosnia is attacked by an external power in a way that compromises their independence, territorial integrity, and/or self-determination, Yugoslavia will immediately intervene militarily on their side. - Should a guaranteed nation initiate a conflict and subsequently begin losing in a manner that threatens their core territorial integrity or right to self-determination, Yugoslavia reserves the obligation to intervene to preserve their borders and prevent foreign annexation. - This is a one-sided security guarantee, not a mutual alliance. These sovereign nations hold zero obligation to assist Yugoslavia if we are attacked or if we enter a separate conflict. The burden of protection rests solely on our shoulders. We seek no land, no expansion, and no subjugation of our neighbors, however the Balkans are Balkan solely.
