Hello everyone. So, I’ve had this drawing in the works for a few weeks, but it’s finally done. So, to summarize this, I drew myself listening to music by The Beatles, and I drew each member of the band surrounding me, and for one part, I drew John and Paul in the same section since they both usually shared lead vocal duties. I also made a reference to the song Here, There and Everywhere with the writing included in the art piece, not just because Paul has described it as his favorite song he ever wrote, but also because of how he referenced it when sending out messages to people who have just subscribed to his newsletter when asking about listening preferences, and to be honest, I really like how he references some of the songs he’s written for a bunch of his stuff, which also includes his Q&A series being titled You Gave Me The Answer, named after his band Wings’ song from the album Venus and Mars, and his monthly recap series being titled What’s That You’re Doing, which is named after the 1982 song from Tug of War, which is one of his solo albums. Seeing how he uses these references on welcoming people who have subscribed to his newsletter and the series he’s done really makes me happy, and I think doing this really sets him apart from most musicians, singers, and songwriters alike.
