Some attacks can only be avoided in a specific way. -You can also counter attacks before they hit you and you'll get a star, which you can use in star-punches. You can have up to 3 stars. -Punch when your opponent is down to heal yourself. -Press the punch buttons/keys as fast as you can if you're down. But be careful, because you can only get knocked down 3 times in total. -Being knocked down 3 times in the same round is a TKO. This applies to both you and your opponent.
