Would I be a good mom? I hope so... Sleepovers: 0-4 - You can have sleepovers with family, and family friends 5-7 - I must know the person/their parents well. (Neighbors, best friends) 8-14 - I have to know the parents or the kid. If it is with neighbors you can just go and stay (assuming the neighborhood is close, like mine) 15+ - I don't really care, just let me know Weekend bedtimes (these are assuming my kid would be a night owl like me) (School bedtimes will be different): 0-1 when I can get you to bed 2-4 - Whenever you get tired but more around 7:15 - 8:00 5-7 - 8:00 - 8:30 8-9 - 9:00 - 10:00 11+ - Don't really care, just not too late. Devices: 0-4 - No personal devices. Maybe some shared devices with me. Planes : Yes (I don't want to deal with a little kid on a long flight) 5-8 - A tablet with parental controls, like a Kindle fire (what I have, no internet access, everything is controlled by parent) 8-12 - Actual tablet, parental controls but more for screen time limits than the kindle 13-14 - 1st phone with parental controls (same as before) (might be earlier depending on the commute to school, but definitely before high school) 15+ Parental controls are still on but no limits (so I can check in) Makeup: 0-7 - Play makeup or those lip gloss palettes from claire's 8-10 - Claire's makeup, an eyeshadow palette for fun/Halloween costumes, and some lip gloss 11-12 - For fancy occasions only 13-14 - Minimal makeup (tinted moisturizer, lip gloss/tint, blush, highlight, mascara) 15 + Buy it with your own money and idc Grades (for a quarter/semester or year): As - All As for a semester/quarter = small gift All As for a year = bigger gift Bs - ok, we will work on it Cs & Ds - We will talk about it & I will have a conversation with your teacher Fs - ... we will cross that bridge if we get to that (it will not end well) Allowance: 0-7 - If you get a good grade on a test, help out or something good you will get "money" that can be traded for coupons such as extra screen time, dinner out or something like that. (This was inspired by my 3rd grade teacher) If you want to buy something I might buy it or you might have to buy it or we might split it, depends on what it is and how good you've been. 8-15 - Allowance 16+ Get a job Smoking : no Drinking : I'll let them have sip of my drinks so when they can drink they won't go crazy because they are already exposed (like Haley in the Parent Trap, I know she lived on a vineyard so it was different but same concept) Of course there would be other rules and rewards and such but this is all I have for now. I am 13, this is just for fun. Enjoy! please rate me out of 10!
