The timer stops automatically when the number of clones reaches 100. I don't think it'll ever reach 100, no matter how much time passes. Apparently, at 10,000 seconds, the probability is nearly 0%. At 1,000,000 seconds (11.5 days), it's supposedly 0.000000000000000000000000000000000933%. If there are 100 clones and *everything* is a Gobo at the 1,000,000-second mark... Yikes... I don't even want to think about it...
