- Space Shooter - I made this for school and it ended up here. I plan on making this a proper rogue like game with an infinite wave mode, a medium difficulty mode, and upgrade caches (cards) - Difficulties - Easy mode is the beginner friendly option, and you can usually beat it within 1 to 2 attempts. Hard mode is a more professional option for people that want to challenge themselves to a ruthless bullet hell alternative. - Controls - W and D to move left and right, press space to shoot bullets. Avoid the red enemy bullets, they do 1 damage and you only have 10 HP. Your HP is reset to 10 every wave. Every time you get damaged, you get 0.33 seconds of immunity from incoming dangers. Speaking of enemies, I added some stat scaling to which correlates to the amount of enemies on screen, and how much they each have in general. - Balancing - If an enemy is at a low hp, they enter a desperation phase. In this phase, they move faster, and their shooting rate is higher. An upside to this is that you deal more damage to hurt enemies. The enemy spawning rate is adjusted so the higher amount on screen, the lower the spawn rate (20% cap on each difficulty). The player also gets some adjustments from the amount of enemies on screen, in which your shooting rate is increased by about ~2% for each enemy on screen (stacks) This is my new style of coding as well, fully utilizing the messages block and further polishing my projects using a easing styles and movement variables.
