Click/Tap 1: actual drawing 2: mood board Lore⭐️ Nyxi comes from a place called The Prism, a strange dimension where everything is made of shifting colors, distorted space, and constantly changing patterns. Their species is supposed to be extremely careful around dimensional rifts because crossing one can cause “reality corruption” They were specifically told: DO NOT TOUCH THE RIFT! So of course… they touched it. Then jumped through it. They landed in the human world and discovered: Music, snacks, rollercoasters, glow sticks, internet memes, etc. Nyxi then immediately decided: “I’m totes staying here” Their friends/family from The Prism keep trying to contact them, but whenever they call, Nyxi is usually doing something completely ridiculous. “Where are you?” “On top of a grocery store” “WHY!?” “There’s a cat up here” Nyxi’s personality✨ Nyxi is EXTREMELY energetic. Not exactly hyper 24/7, but whenever something interest them, their brain goes: ⚠️NEW OBSESSION DETECTED⚠️ They’re also very curious. They’ll see something they’ve never seen before and immediately want to investigate it. Unfortunately, Nyxi has ZERO survival instincts Their running gag⭐️ Nyxi absolutely CANNOT resist buttons Red button? Press it. Green button? Press it. Button labeled: DO NOT PRESS BUTTON Already pressing it. And every time something goes wrong after, they’ll just stare at everyone like: “…Okay, how was I supposed to know?” Abilities ✨ Nyxi’s dimensional orgin gives them the ability to manipulate glitches and colors. But they’re still learning how to control it. So sometimes: their hand becomes temporarily pixelated, their hair changes color randomly, they accidentally duplicate objects, their voice glitches, they'll teleport 3 feet instead of across the room, they accidentally make everything around them monochrome, or their tail/ears flicker like a broken screen. And the funniest part?: Nyxi thinks it’s hilarious Everyone else: “YOU JUST BROKE REALITY” Nyxi: “DID YOU SEE THAT!? THAT WAS SO COOL!!” Soft side✨ Despite all the craziness, Nyxi is actually really attached to the people they meet. They’re scared that eventually the dimensional rift will reopen and they’ll have to leave. They don’t tell anyone because they don’t want people worrying about them. So they act even MORE energetic and silly whenever the subject comes up. Outside: “HAHAHA WATCH ME JUMP OFF OF THIS THING!” inside: “I really hope I don’t have to go yet…” Character flaw⭐️ Nyxi doesn’t understand that you don’t have to turn every moment into an adventure. They’re so afraid of being bored—or being alone—that they’re constantly looking for the next exciting thing. Over time, they could learn that sometimes just hanging out with their friends is enough.
