Lunar is from a clan that worshiped the moon, like to the point of obsession. They thought the moon and stars were gods who have saved them from harm so naturally, Lunar started worshipping. Lunar was especially obsessed with the moon, more than anyone in the clan. Lunar’s position within the clan was a prince, his father was the head. His clan was pretty much peaceful so they only have weapons for hunting, not for wars. So, though-out the years the clan has existed, they had very very very very very very little human contact. They were hidden so well that most humans didn’t know about Lunar’s clan. So, most of the clan’s people didn’t know what humans were. Of course, the clan had contact with other clans too, specifically their rival clan who worshipped the sun (Solar fool’s clan). Until one day at midnight, a human, an astronomer to be exact, stumbled into the clan’s territory looking for a place to star gaze. The human was terrified of the monsters, I mean, who wouldn’t? The clan however, were curious about this specimen they have never seen before. They welcomed the human in, so the human let their guard down. The human then shared great information about the stars, planets, and the Moon. The clan, especially Lunar, thought the human was the messenger of the Moon and Stars because how else would they know all of these information? Lunar took a major liking to the human and the human did the same. They would spend a lot of time together, so much that it was rare to see them apart. The human fell in love with Lunar, while Lunar was confused with his feelings. He didn’t know what love felt like, he had never took interest in the people in his clan before, so this was new, and he wasn’t sure if he liked it or not. After each hangout, the human would go home, back where the other humans were. One day, the human didn’t return. Lunar waited peacefully for a week but after that, his anxiety was over flowing. He sent countless people to look for the human but to no avail. Then, during the summer, the human came back, but with more humans? The human being held back by the other humans. The other humans were holding weapons, and a desire to kill all of the monsters. Turns out, the humans noticed the astronomer leaving constantly, so they threatened the astronomer to tell where they were going. When they found out they were going to a monster nest, they were furious and used the human as a guide and bait. The clan was excited to see more humans, and Lunar was so excited to see the human that he started running towards the human. He didn’t care about professionalism, he didn’t care about acting formal, he was just happy to see his human again. But just before he could break through the crowd… an arrow was fired… and little monster boy fell to his knees and hit his head on the floor, leaving a puddle of monster bl00d. The huge crowd of monsters scattered and screamed in horror as the mother of the little monster held her lifeless boy and cried on the ground. Lunar was in total shock, the humans just came here to make them enemies? He ordered the women and children to flee while the men stayed and fought. Before the men could grab the weapons and the women and children could run away, many were killed. I mean, they were caught off guard. Lunar watched as countless bodies of his own people fell like ragdolls. Remember the mother holding her lifeless boy? Well, the humans were targeting her next. Lunar saw what the humans were about to do, so he ran to defend them, even if it meant he was the one getting shot. Then, the astronomer who was held back, broke free and stepped in to defend before Lunar could. They took the shot. The mother ran away, carrying her little boy as Lunar ran past them and catched the astronomer before they hit the ground. Lunar could feel the blood through his clothes, soiling it, but he didn’t care. He examined wound…….. oh no… it hit their heart… His breathing tensed, he can see the astronomers eyes fading away, “ ██ …” Lunar met the astronomers eyes, “Yes?…” The astronomer opened their mouth again but nothing came out, the fire went out. Lunar looked up, and all he could see was clears skies, and the big bright Sun shining over head. The Sun. Huh. … The humans were getting ready to shoot multiple arrows at Lunar but before they could, Lunar lunged at the leader of the group and snapped their neck. He then proceeded to murder the rest of the humans until there was no one left (I ain’t about to put gore on here). His eyes, it was empty, he had just lost 2 out of 3 of the most important things in his life, his people and the astronomer. He then fled, picking up as much bodies of his people as he can to bury and hide away. The days were rough, he refused to do anything except run away from humans who were nearby. He soon realized that humans contaminated the earth, like an infestation. He was wandering around one day, hungry, until he was found, found by the troupe we know.
